Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
- Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth process and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid registered nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Certification in ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
- AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a community hospital setting.
- Strong patient communication and teamwork skills.
