Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shift, 8.0 hours per shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory tests in pathology and chemistry departments, ensuring accurate and timely results
• Rotate weekend shifts approximately once every four weeks as part of weekend coverage
• Follow all safety and procedural protocols in the laboratory setting
• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation of all testing and quality control procedures
• Collaborate with laboratory team members to ensure smooth operations and high-quality patient care

Required Qualifications
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with ASCP registration
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a clinical laboratory environment
• Experience working with computer systems, including web-based applications and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Strong hematology experience
• Ability to work weekly orientation sessions, typically on Mondays, barring holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in a hospital or large healthcare system setting
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently use laboratory information systems and electronic health records
