Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, days shift, onsite

Key Responsibilities
• Provide circulating nursing care in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Manage patient recovery and assist with post-operative care, including PACU/Recovery training.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols while maintaining sterility standards.
• Badge in and out at the facility, adhering to all onsite procedures.
• Cover one to two weekends per month and two evenings weekly, including call responsibilities.
• Assist with a variety of surgeries such as appendectomies, hernia repairs, EGD, colonoscopy, C-sections, D&C, ectopic pregnancy, and lap chole.

Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of circulator nursing experience in the OR.
• Valid SD or compact nursing license.
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Comfortable with patient recovery and able to respond to emergency calls.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working with Sanford Health is advantageous; must note previous employment if applicable.
• Willingness to be trained in PACU/Recovery.
• Ability to work independently as the sole RN circulator for assigned cases.
