Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Cardiac and Medical PCU/ICU Stepdown unit, including heart caths, BiPAP, and vasoactive drips.
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, IV starts, advanced cardiac care, and high-flow oxygen.
• Administer and adjust medications such as Levo, Dopa, Nitro, Cardizem, and Amio.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
• Handle Vents, Vasoactive medications, and Vasoactive drips within scope of practice.
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (Cerner).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in a similar setting.
• Valid active IN license and current certifications: ACLS, BLS (NIH preferred).
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends, including major holidays.
• Experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Vents, Charge Nurse experience, and Conscious Sedation.
• Experience managing cardiac and vasoactive drips in an ICU stepdown environment.
• Knowledge of Level I-IV care requirements.
