Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry care to inpatient medical-surgical patients across multiple units.
• Administer medications, including nebulizers and IV therapy, as well as blood transfusions, following unit protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and telemetry readings continuously, responding to alarms and changes in patient condition.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care during 12-hour shifts.
• Support a diverse patient population, including neurology, cardiac, bariatric, general medicine, and surgery units.
• Adhere to all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies, including CPR and ACLS protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse license at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Basic computer skills and experience navigating web-based applications.
• Epic electronic medical record experience required.
• Experience in a teaching hospital and Level I trauma center preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Expertise in multiple medical-surgical units with a focus on neurology, cardiac, bariatric, and general surgery.
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring systems and unit-specific procedures such as 12-lead EKGs.
• Experience supporting ventilated patients managed by RTs.
• Ability to adapt quickly to rotating shifts and a variable schedule.
