• Contract, 13-week assignment, rotating shifts (days/evenings/nights), 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and monitor patients in a busy medical-surgical telemetry unit
• Administer medications, including nebulizers and blood transfusions, per unit protocols
• Conduct 12-lead EKGs and manage telemetry monitoring for patients
• Support patient care across multiple specialties, including neurology, cardiac, and general medicine
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit-specific procedures and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid Massachusetts RN license (must be active at time of submission)
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with web-based applications
• CPR (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Level I trauma experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a teaching hospital setting
• Specialty area expertise in neurology, cardiac, or transplant units
• Prior experience with ventilator management and complex patient care

Additional Details

• Support for local candidates only; no travel separation required
• No blocked scheduling requests; some shifts assigned with short notice
• Support for 72 guaranteed hours biweekly; on-call hours not included

• Shifts include a mix of 8 and 12 hours, rotating days, evenings, and nights, including every other weekend and holidays
