Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, temporary (13 weeks), inpatient & outpatient clinic, day shifts (Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients with medical conditions affecting mobility and function.
• Administer prescribed physical therapy treatments to promote movement, reduce pain, and restore functionality.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies.
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides during treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accordingly.

Required Qualifications

• Alabama state license for Physical Therapy (must be attached to resume)
• Minimum of 2 years recent physical therapy experience, preferably in a hospital setting
• BLS certification (must be through the American Heart Association, attached to submission packet)
• Ability to work in inpatient and outpatient settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in hospital environments
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
