Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, Days, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the PACU, ensuring patient stability and comfort.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and recovery status using advanced GE monitoring equipment.
• Administer medications and intervene as needed following protocols and physician orders.
• Document patient progress and care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech).
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adapt to a dynamic environment, supporting a high-volume robotic surgery center with a focus on spine and joint procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• At least 2 years of recent PACU experience.
• CPR (Healthcare Provider) certification.
• ACLS certification required; PALS preferred.
• Experience with GE monitoring systems and Meditech EMR.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma center experience.
• Thoracic, neuro, or pediatric recovery experience.
• Experience in a high-volume robotic surgery environment.
