- Full-time, temporary travel assignment
- Nights shift, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- 13-week duration
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Labor & Delivery unit, including antepartum and postpartum care
- Follow established AWHONN staffing guidelines to ensure optimal patient-to-nurse ratios
- Document patient care accurately using GE-CPN and Meditech systems
- Collaborate with unit staff, including CNAs and techs, to support patient needs
- Assist with patient assessments, monitoring, and interventions during labor, delivery, and recovery
- Be available for on-call shifts approximately every two weeks and provide support during weekends as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Certification in STABLE (Breastfeeding and Newborn Care)
- Completion of AWHONN Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or Advanced) course
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume labor and delivery environment
- Familiarity with GE-CPN and Meditech documentation systems
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
