Schedule / Job Type

• Days, full-time, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the Operating Room.
• Assist with preoperative assessments and preparations.
• Monitor patient vitals and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic charting system.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid California RN license.
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
• At least 2 years of operating room nursing experience with trauma, neuro, vascular, and ortho cases.
• Experience with Epic electronic medical records preferred.
• Willingness to work limited holiday shifts as needed.
• Ability to float between hospital units and affiliates as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in acute care hospital settings.
• Experience covering trauma, neuro, vascular, and orthopedics.
• Flexibility with variable start times (7:00 AM or 9:00 AM).
