• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to adult patients in intermediate/stepdown units, including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and manage dysrhythmias, telemetry, and ventilator support.
• Administer and titrate vasoactive and cardiac medications, ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.
• Respond to emergency situations, including rapid response escalations and ICU transfers.
• Document patient progress and interventions using EPIC EMR and ensure compliance with hospital standards.
• Float to other units or campuses as needed, with documented competencies.

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina or multistate RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or IICU experience with acuity of at least 1:3.
• At least one completed travel assignment in a critical care setting.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications.
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and ventilator management.
• Experience with EPIC EMR (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to work night shifts and meet weekend scheduling requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in adult trauma, neurological, or medical-surgical units.
• Prior experience with telemetry and vasoactive drips.
• Demonstrated competency in emergency procedures and complex patient care.

Additional Details

• Shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Must be located at least 100 miles from Prisma Health facilities unless meeting specific exceptions.
• Orientation begins every Monday; pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract start.
• Floating to other units may be required, based on competency and staffing needs.
