Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 7 days on/7 days off schedule with a combination of 3-12 hour shifts (10 am – 10:30 pm) and 4-10 hour shifts (12 pm – 10:30 pm); midshift hours.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis in clinical microbiology, hematology, chemistry, immunology, or other specialties.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and quality processing of specimens in accordance with hospital standards.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, troubleshoot technical issues, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Document results properly and communicate findings to medical staff as needed.
• Follow all regulatory and compliance policies related to laboratory procedures.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist) experience.
• Eligible for ASCP, NCA, AMT, or equivalent certification (must complete within 6 months of hire).
• Associate degree or military training recognized for certification eligibility.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
