Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapeutic services to a diverse patient population.
• Perform bedside diagnostic procedures and maintain comprehensive respiratory care plans.
• Evaluate patient status and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Assist as a preceptor for students and new hires, supporting team knowledge and development.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and safety requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from NBRC.
• Current Ohio State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
• Certification in CPR.
• Ability to be on call and lift up to 30 pounds.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and NRP certifications (must be obtained within 6 months if not already certified).
• PALS and Stable certifications (preferred but not required).
• Prior experience in a hospital respiratory care department is a plus.
