Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to various patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
• Perform bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Review and update respiratory care plans based on patient evaluations.
• Conduct patient assessments and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Serve as a preceptor for students and new hires to ensure proper training and adherence to protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
• Current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
• Current CPR certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and NRP certifications (required for Parkview Randallia location or to be obtained within 6 months).
• PALS and StABLE certifications (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to be on call.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
