Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location
• Wichita, KS

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care to adults in a Medical Surgical unit
• Monitor patient health status and document observations using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
• Assist patients with daily activities and ensure their safety and comfort
• Support unit operations and maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or appropriate state
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with EMR systems and hospital equipment such as lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, walkers, and canes
• Outgoing personality with strong teamwork skills
