Registered Nurse PICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PICU

Location: Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, Full-time

Key Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) • Conduct IV starts, catheter placements, and central line dressing changes • Monitor hemodynamics, ICP, and ventilator settings • Assist with trache care, tube feeding, and placement • Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans • Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques

Required Qualifications: • Current RN licensure in the state of NC • PALs certification • 1 year of experience in PICU • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience / Skills: • Experience with Alaris pumps and Cerner documentation system • Knowledge of pediatric physiology and pathophysiology • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
