Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Location: Chico, CA

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician referrals across a variety of diagnoses.
• Assess, identify, and address deficits impacting self-care, functional mobility, upper extremity function, cognition, perception, and behavior.
• Educate patients and caregivers to promote safe and effective execution of treatment techniques.
• Provide individualized therapy plans aimed at improving patient independence and quality of life.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Current Occupational Therapy license from the State of California or valid limited permit.
• Minimum of one year of experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health, or outpatient settings.
• Current CPR certification.
• Demonstrated clinical competence, strong communication skills, and sensitivity to patient needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation facility.
• Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and protocols.
• Ability to adapt treatment plans to diverse patient populations.
