• Days, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-16 week assignment, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients primarily on the Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including monitoring and managing patients with complex conditions such as oncology, infection, and other comorbidities.
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage arterial lines, PICC lines, and central lines.
• Administer blood products, medications, and manage IV starts, port access, and chest tubes.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as telemetry monitors, bladder scanners, and Alaris pumps.
• Assist with patient mobility and fall prevention, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Support patient symptom management related to disease treatment or progression.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Valid BCLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage complex IV lines and port access.
• Experience with arterial line management, blood product administration, and chest tube procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred.
• Oncology experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
