Registered Nurse NICU

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - NICU

Location
• Charleston, SC

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts (7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.), rotating weekends and holidays, with floating within scope as needed.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to neonates in a Level IV NICU setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure safe and effective delivery of care.
• Manage care for premature and critically ill neonates with conditions such as respiratory distress, prematurity, and surgical needs.
• Support medical and surgical interventions, including ECMO, CRRT, and surgical support.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records.
• Participate in on-call and emergency response during hurricane season as required.

Required Qualifications
• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience, with Level IV NICU experience preferred.
• BLS and NRPL certifications.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience managing neonatal surgical patients and involvement with neonatal ECMO/CRRT support.
• Ability to float within scope and adapt to various patient acuity levels.
