Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Days, 4x10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the endoscopy and GI procedure areas within an acute hospital setting.
- Prepare and assist with procedures such as colonoscopies, EUS, EBUS, ERCP, ION, and bronchoscopy.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety throughout procedures.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Alaska RN license (or pending license with strong preference for in-hand license).
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Ability to work a 4x10-day shift schedule.
- Experience with endoscopy, colonoscopy, and related procedures.
- On-call availability every 5th weekend.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS, PALS, SGNA certification.
- Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures (EUS, EBUS).
- Familiarity with Epic charting system.
