Manager / Director - LTC/SNF
Location: Larimore, ND
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shift

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of long-term care or skilled nursing facility in accordance with location standards, regulations, and resident care plans.
  • Manage budgeting, staffing, and scheduling to ensure optimal team performance and resident care.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, participating in survey processes and developing plans of correction as needed.
  • Lead the management and auditing of electronic medical records (EMR), including staff training, documentation, and reporting.
  • Monitor quality assurance initiatives, including CQI processes, to continuously improve care delivery.
  • Oversee resident assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluations to ensure all needs are met and documented properly.
  • Promote a resident-centered environment by offering choices, respecting rights, and ensuring safety and dignity.
  • Report resident condition changes promptly, coordinate communication with physicians, and ensure timely order processing.
  • Maintain thorough, accurate resident records and ensure staff are trained in proper documentation and scheduling procedures.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, participate in care conferences, and engage in special projects as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control policies, including antibiotic stewardship and restraint regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing or healthcare administration.
  • Valid RN licensure for the state of practice.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Proven leadership skills with previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Knowledge of long-term care regulations and quality standards.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Prior experience in LTC or SNF management or director-level roles.
  • Experience with EMR systems and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with federal and state survey processes.
