Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Deliver rehabilitative services to residents in a 16-bed assisted living facility.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report findings to the supervising therapist.
• Support residents' mobility, strength, and daily living activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with facility standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
• Previous experience working in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and patient safety practices.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with elderly or geriatric populations.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Ability to adapt therapy plans to individual resident needs.

Additional Details

• Salary range: $25 - $30 per hour
• Placement fee: 10% of annual salary
