Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Location: Columbus, OH

Schedule / Job Type: Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other or third weekend, floating within OSU

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care in a Med Surg / Tele unit with a focus on adult and geriatric populations.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient treatment plans.
• Respond to patient needs efficiently and adhere to clinical protocols.
• Support special procedures such as burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.
• Document care accurately using EPIC and manage medication dispensing via Pyxis.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent Med Surg / Tele experience with similar patient populations.
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Ability to float within the specified facility as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in a teaching hospital environment.
• Familiarity with EPIC documentation system.
• Experience with complex procedures like burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, or urology.
