Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with a variety of CT scans, including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, fluoroscopy studies, and lower and upper extremities.
- Prepare and administer contrast media; start peripheral IVs as needed.
- Conduct specialized procedures such as brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA.
- Operate GE PACS imaging systems and ensure proper post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction when applicable.
- Maintain patient care during scans for diverse age groups, including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Follow safety protocols and provide excellent customer service in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid ARRT RT (R)(CT) certification
- Current BLS certification
- Active WA state license (or eligible for traveling contracts if previously separated for at least 3 months in eligible facilities outside of Swedish facilities)
- Experience with contrast media preparation and peripheral IV placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP)
- Exposure to outpatient imaging, emergency department settings, and working independently under minimal supervision
