Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 nights per week

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical reviews and provide auto-offers, with managerial approval after clinical assessment
• Collaborate with the team to deliver specialized respiratory care to pediatric patients in a children's hospital setting
• Work within a self-scheduling model, with flexibility to accommodate staffing needs and holiday requirements
• Support patient care during night shifts, including the management of complex cases in a pediatric ICU setting
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting using Epic or equivalent electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license in respiratory therapy (pending licenses accepted; must have another state license to be eligible for a temporary permit)
• RRT certification
• BLS certification required; PALS certification preferred
• Minimum of Level 4 NICU experience in a hospital environment
• Experience working in a children's hospital and pediatric ICU settings

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac PICU experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of pediatric respiratory care and equipment
• Comfortable working night shifts and floating within scope of practice as needed

Additional Information

• Must work 2 out of 3 winter holidays and every other weekend
• Compliance with Tier 2 Travel requirements; RTO requests limited to 40 hours per 13-week contract, with specific communication at submission
• Be prepared to complete required modules during orientation; Epic charting experience preferred
