Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, 13-week assignment, days shift, working 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care nursing to ICU patients in a hospital setting.
- Monitor and operate advanced equipment such as Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, and Artic Sun.
- Perform procedures including central line insertions and dialysis catheter placements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Follow hospital policies and documentation procedures using Meditech system.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications.
- At least 2 years of ICU experience.
- Critical thinking skills and self-motivation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced ICU procedures and complex equipment.
- Flexibility to work day shifts and adapt to floating policies.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
