Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in a rural emergency department setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implement treatment plans, and document care provided.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols.
- Participate in rotating holiday and weekend shifts as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Wisconsin or appropriate licensing for practice.
- Prior experience working in an ER or acute care environment is preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and be flexible with weekend rotations.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a critical access hospital or rural healthcare setting.
- BLS/ACLS certification.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, 24/7 emergency environment.
