Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the intensive care unit (ICU) for adult patients.
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using electronic charting systems such as Epic.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during night shifts, adhering to hospital protocols.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing, certification, and hospital policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license.
- Current ACLS and BCLS certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience.
- Ability to work night shifts (4x10-hour shifts per week).
- Willingness to work holidays and float within the hospital as needed.
- Must have a minimum of 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of ICU experience within the past three years.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with Epic electronic charting system.
- Ability to float between units within the hospital or to nearby facilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
