Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care on a 36-bed telemetry unit focused on respiratory disorders.
• Float to various units and hospitals as needed, maintaining flexibility in assigned locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and care management.
• Adhere to facility policies, including holiday and weekend coverage.
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in patient care delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Alabama or Compact Registered Nurse license (no temporary licenses).
• Associated degree in nursing.
• AHA BLS or Red Cross certification.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a specialty setting.
• Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in respiratory or pulmonary units.
• Familiarity with Meditech Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Demonstrated ability to float across units and adapt to different clinical environments.
