• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide observational care to a diverse patient population in a 24-bed Medical Surgical unit.
• Monitor patients with cardiac, respiratory, and general medical diagnoses, including COVID-positive cases and post-procedural patients.
• Administer medications, including titratable cardiac drips, and perform diagnostic testing as needed.
• Document patient care accurately within the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kentucky or Compact Nursing License (must be current at time of submission).
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience.
• Diploma, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• 2+ years of previous medical-surgical nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• IV certification.
• Previous experience caring for cardiac, respiratory, or COVID-positive patients.
• Experience working in a hospital setting with a core focus on teamwork and patient-centered care.
