• Full-time, Days shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult patients with sickle cell disease in a clinical outpatient setting.
• Manage chronic illnesses including CKD, DM, HTN, and cardiac conditions.
• Administer treatments for sickle cell crises, including IV fluids, pain medication, and blood transfusions.
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient management.
• Follow facility protocols and quality standards at a renowned Level I Trauma Center and Magnet Hospital.

Required Qualifications

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience, preferably in outpatient or hematology/oncology settings.
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting system.
• Ability to handle adult sickle cell patient population and associated chronic illnesses.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing sickle cell crises, including IV therapy and transfusions.
• Prior work in a teaching hospital or trauma center setting.
• Knowledge of MSCU or similar high-acuity care environments.
