Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and document patient health status and progress
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols
- Respect patient rights and maintain dignity in all care activities
- Ensure compliance with licensing, safety, and healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an approved LPN/LVN program
- Valid and current license in good standing in the state of Alaska as an LPN
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to pass and maintain clinical competencies for the role
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting (1 year preferred)
- IV certification course completion
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a diverse team
