Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist (NICU)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts, 36 hours/week, every third weekend, rotating schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
• Work independently across various clinical settings, including administration of respiratory care protocols.
• Manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy.
• Deliver care in Level 2 and 3 NICU, as well as in a birthing hospital NICU setting.
• Provide support in delivery room scenarios and neonatal intensive care units.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification through AHA.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Ability to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local travelers accepted.
• Must be available to start ASAP, with up to 4 weeks for compliance.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous NICU experience, preferably in Level 2 or 3 NICU or special care nursery.
• Delivery room experience is a plus.
