Job Title
- Respiratory Therapist (NICU)

Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 36 hours/week, every third weekend, rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Work independently across various clinical settings, including administration of respiratory care protocols.
- Manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy.
- Deliver care in Level 2 and 3 NICU, as well as in a birthing hospital NICU setting.
- Provide support in delivery room scenarios and neonatal intensive care units.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- Current CPR certification through AHA.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
- At least 2 years of related work experience.
- Ability to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, aerosolized medications, and oxygen therapy.
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local travelers accepted.
- Must be available to start ASAP, with up to 4 weeks for compliance.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous NICU experience, preferably in Level 2 or 3 NICU or special care nursery.
- Delivery room experience is a plus.

Additional Notes
- No travelers who have worked for the facility within the last six months; must be separated for a minimum of six months.
- Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays, barring holidays.
