- Full-time, Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an outpatient oncology setting, including assessment, medication reconciliation, and vital sign collection.
- Support psychosocial oncology services, offering emotional support and counseling.
- Assist with procedures such as dressing changes and aseptic tray setup.
- Collect and process specimens including venipuncture, throat, urine, and capillary samples.
- Manage office duties such as medication refills, pharmacy calls, and telephone triage.
- Interpret laboratory results and maintain accurate patient records to ensure continuity of care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid compact or state RN license in Ohio.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in an outpatient or oncology setting.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in utilizing EPIC electronic documentation system.
- Ability to interpret laboratory results and perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with cancer patient populations.
- Knowledge of oncology-specific procedures and psychosocial support services.
- Familiarity with integrated healthcare teams and collaborative patient care.
