Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a 36-bed medical surgical/telemetry unit.
• Monitor and assess patients with conditions including trauma, stroke/TIA, orthopedic, neuro, and general medical needs.
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records to document patient information and care plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Adapt to floating assignments as needed based on hospital requirements.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant certifications, licenses, and hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting.
• Telemetry training and experience managing cardiac monitoring.
• Certifications and licenses as required for the state of Virginia.
• EPIC charting experience.
• Valid VA nursing license or proof of compact license.
• NIH and stroke education completed within the last year.
• Ability to provide supervisory references.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with orthopedic, neurological, or surgical patients.
• Prior experience within Riverside Health System hospitals.
• Knowledge of California or VA-specific healthcare protocols.
