Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in the emergency room setting.
- Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and implement appropriate interventions.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and timely according to hospital protocols.
- Respond swiftly and effectively to emergency situations and critical patient needs.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including rotating weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Previous experience in an emergency room or acute care setting
- Knowledge of emergency protocols and procedures
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
