Key Responsibilities
• Assist surgical team during procedures in a high-acuity environment.
• Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Ensure adherence to sterile technique and safety protocols.
• Support patient positioning and documentation as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to maintain efficiency and quality of care.
• Be available for call, holidays, and weekends as needed, including participation in on-call rotations.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, strong experience in a Level 1 trauma surgical environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in surgical technology and instrument handling.
• Ability to accurately document procedures and patient information.
• Strong familiarity with sterilization processes and operating room safety standards.
• Relevant certification as a surgical technologist or equivalent.
• Must be registered and listed in work history with detailed demographic info, including full SS# and badge photo.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in busy hospital trauma centers.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to high-pressure situations.
