Job Title

• Registered Nurse - NICU

• Charlottesville, VA

• Full-time, night shifts (12 hours), 3 shifts per week

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in the NICU, ensuring the safety and well-being of premature and critically ill infants.
• Float across various pediatric units including PICU, peds Med/Surg, peds ED, postpartum/mother-baby, and specialty units as needed.
• Adhere to clinical policies, including float policies and infection control procedures, while maintaining high-quality patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records using Epic.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

• Minimum of 2 years' PICU experience or NICU experience with pediatric float pool background.
• Current valid license in the state of Virginia (pending licenses accepted with verification prior to start).
• Active BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Completion of or pending Dr. Brown’s Infant Driven Feeding Certification (cost $185).
• Epic electronic medical record experience.

• Previous NICU or PICU float pool experience.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Experience working within Virginia or similar healthcare settings.
