• Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume, Level II trauma center ED.
• Manage patient assessments, interventions, and documentation using Cerner system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Support patient experience initiatives, including respectful communication and comfort measures.
• Adhere to safety and unit-specific policies, including certifications and dress code requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS, and ENPC certifications (or obtained within specified timeframes).
• Proven trauma center experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to provide coaching and feedback.
• Flexibility to float within the ED and adapt to various unit areas.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume ED with over 100,000 visits annually.
• Experience working in a hospital system with HCA background preferred.
• Bilingual skills or multicultural patient care experience.
• Knowledge of advanced procedures performed in the ED.
