Key Responsibilities

• Perform dual certified vascular ultrasound procedures independently, utilizing extensive knowledge of human anatomy and imaging equipment.
• Ensure proper maintenance and optimal use of imaging equipment valued at approximately $700,000.
• Monitor and manage supplies efficiently, adhering to equipment and procedural protocols.
• Interpret clinical data and make accurate, reliable judgments regarding patient conditions, anatomy, and abnormalities.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and radiology personnel to facilitate patient procedures and ensure quality care.
• Maintain a high standard of safety, accuracy, and professionalism during long procedures and patient interactions.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an allied health program (radiologic technology, nuclear medicine, or registered nursing) or accredited ultrasound program.
• Current registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) and a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of human anatomy and clinical data interpretation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle stress and multitask during lengthy procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with vascular ultrasound imaging and associated equipment.
• Familiarity with PACS hardware, computer terminals, and ultrasound accessories.
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical environment, particularly in vascular or ultrasound departments.
