Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 3x12-hour night shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/Progressive Care/Stepdown unit within a Level I Trauma Center.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and respond to changes in patient acuity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient interactions and treatments accurately in electronic health records.
- Float within scope of practice to meet unit needs.
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, including holiday and weekend coverage as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in PCU, Stepdown, or progressive care units.
- Must be able to work night shifts and occasional holiday and weekend coverage.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC charting system.
- Prior full-time experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital setting.
