Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift, 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients over 12-hour shifts
- Monitor fetal and maternal health, respond to labor progress, and manage delivery procedures
- Perform IV starts and other L&D skills with expertise
- Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health record system
- Adhere to all safety and compliance protocols, including required certifications and credentialing processes
- May be required to float to additional units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Certification in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN Advanced preferred
- Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system
- Experience with IV starts and L&D procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Ability to float to other units as needed
- Strong skills in fetal monitoring and labor management

Additional Notes
- Strict compliance with fingerprinting deadline prior to start; candidates outside Ohio must drive to a fingerprinting location or complete mailed packet immediately after booking
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 from a leadership individual
- RTO (Request for Time Off) must be built into the contract
- Locals accepted at the same rate
