Key Responsibilities
• Perform sterilization and reprocessing of surgical instruments and equipment in compliance with hospital protocols.
• Prepare, assemble, and inspect medical instruments to ensure proper sterilization and functionality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of sterilization cycles, instrument batches, and quality control records.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members in sterile processing procedures.
• Adhere to infection control standards and safety protocols at all times.
• Support supplemental tasks related to endoscope reprocessing and equipment management.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of sterile processing experience, with extensive knowledge of CPD procedures.
• Proven experience reprocessing endoscopes.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• National certification in sterile processing.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior travel or agency experience in sterile processing settings.
• Strong knowledge of sterilization equipment, devices, and hospital infection control standards.
• Experience training or mentoring new team members.
