Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, dayshift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM), 5 days per week, weekend rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in an acute hospital setting within the ICU units, including MICU and SICU.
• Treat approximately 8-10 patients daily, focusing on self-care, DME, and splinting treatments performed at patient bedside.
• Document patient progress and interventions using the hospital’s Meditech system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individual treatment plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety protocols, including patient confidentiality and infection control.

Required Qualifications

• Active California occupational therapy license.
• Experience in an acute medical setting, working with ventilated patients with multiple lines in MICU/SICU.
• Knowledge and experience with basic self-care assessments, DME, and splinting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to practice AIDET at all times.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in NICU settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
