Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in the emergency department, demonstrating respect, safety, confidentiality, and cooperation with staff and patients.
- Utilize equipment such as T-system EMR, Pyxis, and Telestroke for patient management.
- Adhere to hospital and department protocols, ensuring efficient and quality care delivery.
- Document patient information accurately and timely within the electronic health records system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to prioritize patient needs and deliver comprehensive care.
Required Qualifications
- Wyoming State or compact RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of previous ER nursing experience.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification preferred.
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a 22-bed emergency department setting.
- Ability to manage multiple patients with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
- Strong knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment.
