Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Circulate and scrub in various surgical procedures, including trauma, ortho, URO, oncology, neuro, plastics, ENT, dental, and cardiac.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient management.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with protocols for trauma and high-acuity cases in a Level 1 trauma center.
• Adhere to shift schedules, including weekends, holidays, and on-call as required.

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license with current certification on file.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital.
• EPIC EMR experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
• Ability to both circulate and scrub during surgical procedures; must have skills checklists available.
• Strong proficiency in general OR procedures and specialties such as ortho, URO, oncology, neuro, plastics, ENT, dental, cardiac, and trauma.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with Da Vinci Robotics and other advanced surgical technologies.
• Flexibility to work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day).
• Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments.

Additional Information
• Assignment duration: 16-26 weeks.
• Travel rate: $112/hour; local rate: $102/hour within 50 miles; radius rate: $107/hour for 51-100 miles.
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions every Monday.
• Reliable transportation required; public transit is not accessible.
• Vehicles should be equipped for seasonal conditions (all-season or snow tires from November to April).
