Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 depending on floor assignment

• Perform and assist with procedures including abdominal surgeries, paracentesis, thoracentesis, heart catheterizations, gastric sleeves, and orthopedic repairs

• Monitor patients using remote telemetry, capnography, Alaris IV pumps, glucometers, and dynamaps

• Document patient care accurately using an Allscripts-based EMR system

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, LVNs, and patient care technicians

• Float as needed to inpatient rehab, ED, or PCU; assignments will not exceed scope of practice or skill level

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience

• Telemetry experience required

• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications

• Ability to work weekend shifts as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cardiac rhythm recognition

• Proficiency with IV starts

• Strong time management skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
