Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Projected Start: 06/29/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in an ambulatory surgery center operating room environment
- Support surgical procedures including total joints, sports injuries, podiatry, plastics, and general orthopedic cases
- Maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio and uphold high standards of patient safety throughout all procedures
- Utilize paper-based and SIS electronic medical record systems as required
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including charge staff, PACU, and central sterile processing
- Float to other surgery center locations within the area on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care CST experience
- Active NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification required
- Active DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) certification required
- Demonstrated flexibility and confidence in surgical technologist skill set
- Strong commitment to patient care and safety
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Competency in total joints, general surgery, podiatry, and sports medicine procedures
- Orthopedic and/or spine surgical experience
- Minimum of 2 years of overall surgical technologist experience
