Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Projected Start: 06/29/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub technologist duties in an ambulatory surgery center operating room environment
• Support surgical procedures including total joints, sports injuries, podiatry, plastics, and general orthopedic cases
• Maintain a 1:1 patient care ratio and uphold high standards of patient safety throughout all procedures
• Utilize paper-based and SIS electronic medical record systems as required
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary OR team including charge staff, PACU, and central sterile processing
• Float to other surgery center locations within the area on an as-needed basis

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care CST experience
• Active NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification required
• Active DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) certification required
• Demonstrated flexibility and confidence in surgical technologist skill set
• Strong commitment to patient care and safety

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Competency in total joints, general surgery, podiatry, and sports medicine procedures
• Orthopedic and/or spine surgical experience
• Minimum of 2 years of overall surgical technologist experience
