RN Flex Pool – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Nights)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (18:45–07:15) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Float between various medical and surgical units including a Medical Unit, a Surgical Acute Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with unit-specific nurse-to-patient ratios (Medical 1:6 days/eves and 1:8 nights; Surgical Acute 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4)
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and Pyxis for medication management
• Operate and manage specialized equipment including wound vacs and chest tubes
• Adhere to unit-specific orientation and training programs upon assignment to each unit
• Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) in accordance with facility dress code

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii RN license (must be obtained by assignment start date)
• Documented proof of required immunities (medical and religious exemptions are not accepted in lieu of documentation)
• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience (up to 10 years)
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certifications in PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, or ENPC
• Prior experience in a float pool or multi-unit nursing environment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems
