Unit Information: 62029 Ortho Trauma Location: 4 th floor Address: 9191 Grant St. Thornton 80229 Floor: Building: Main Hospital General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -: 27 Number of Staff – when at 27 we call for a charge 6 and ACT Type of staff: Day Shift charge, 6 RNs, and ACT from 10am-10pm Night Shift – charge, 6 RNs and ACT from 10am-10pm Patient Ratios – 5:1 Type of equipment – remote telemetry EMR – MediTech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Telemetry ability to read strips Post-op ortho experience IV Certification (38 hours minimum ) Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Trauma experience Post-op cardiac cath experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Post-op surgical patients Some cardiac drips such as amio and dilt. Also will see heparin drips Post op cardiac cath procedures Best personality Fit: Hard worker, fun personality, high energy High energy unit looking forward to bringing new teammates to the unit!
